Description
Tyrrells and Braziers Cottage is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with a crosswing at the southern end. The building features a timber frame set on a rubblestone plinth, with brick cladding below and tile hanging above. It has moulded board eaves and a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left, with a front ridge stack located at the center. The cottage is two storeys high, with a shallow crosswing to the left and a projecting gable front crosswing to the right. On the first floor, there are four casement windows, with leaded glass on the right. To the left, there is a half-glazed door beneath a tiled demi-circular porch hood, and to the right, a 20th-century leaded half-glazed door set in a porch recess. At the time of listing, part of the building was being used as a funeral directors office.
