Description

Rosewell Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It has a timber frame that is clad in red brick at the bottom and tile hung above, topped with a plain tiled roof. There is a front stack located to the right of the center. Originally a hall house, the ends have been demolished. The cottage is two storeys high and features two casement windows, partly leaded, on the first floor. There is a planked door located at the left end of the building, and a catslide roof is present at the rear right.
