Description

Cherry Orchard is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame covered with red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building likely originated as a hall house. It stands two storeys tall on a plinth and has a hipped roof with gablets and a cluster of stacks to the centre left. The front has a regular arrangement of two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, with a central boarded door. At the rear, there are hipped wings made of ragstone with brick dressings.
