Description
Barton Farm is an 18th-century house featuring a tile-hung exterior set on a red brick base, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth and has a hipped roof with chimney stacks located to the centre left and at the rear. The façade has a regular arrangement of windows, with two wooden casements on each floor, and a central door made up of six raised and fielded panels, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets. To the right, there is a hipped return wing, and at the rear, there is another hipped wing. The house may have an older framed core.
