Description

Homelands is a house dating from the 17th century, consisting of two builds with a likely earlier core. It is constructed of red and blue brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, with the roof hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, and stacks located at the centre and the left end. There are five wooden casements on each floor, along with a central 20th-century pentice porch that has a boarded door positioned to the centre left. At the rear left, there is a 20th-century wing. Inside, the house features a heavily beamed ceiling, which may indicate a framed structure, and includes inglenook fireplaces.
