Description

This barn, located 5 yards south west of Lynehouse Farm House, dates from the 16th century. It features a timber frame set on a rendered plinth, with rendered infill in the exposed framing. The barn has weatherboard cladding on the right and left ends, and a plain tiled roof with Horsham slabs on the rear pitch. It is two storeys high and consists of five framed bays. There is a 3-light diamond pane casement window in the centre bay, an opening on the left end of the first floor, a boarded door on the right side of the ground floor, and a flat lintelled throughway on the left side of the ground floor.
