Description
This barn, located 15 yards west of Crowhurst Place, dates back to the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is exposed, with red and some blue brick infilling, and is topped with a Horsham slab roof. The barn is rectangular and consists of nine framed bays, with an arched throughway positioned to the right of the center. To the right, there is a diamond lattice twelve-light transom and mullioned window, while to the left are double ribbed doors.
Inside, the barn has nine bays supported by jowled posts that carry arched ties and curved braces, and it features a queen strut roof.
