Description

Moat Farm House is a house dating from around 1800, with an early 20th-century extension at the rear. The front is made of ashlar stone, while the rear is roughcast, both topped with hipped slate roofs. The house features ashlar end stacks at the front and rendered stacks at the rear. It has two storeys and a plat band above the ground floor. The front has five bays with glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, which are connected by a cill band. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with margin lights and a traceried fanlight above, all set beneath a flat bracketed lintel. At the rear, there is a central bargeboard gable with five leaded casement windows on the first floor, and a six-panel door with the top two panels glazed, located in a gabled porch.
