Description

This is a late 18th century cottage of two storeys and two windows, located on the west side of High Street, Merstham. The cottage is rendered with stucco and features incised lines. It has a fairly low-pitched slated roof. A double garage door is situated on the right-hand side. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within molded wooden architraves. A four-panel door is located on the left return. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 23 to 51 (odd), Red Cottage, and the drinking fountain and cattle trough situated to the east of numbers 27 and 29.
