Description

This is a late 18th-century building on High Street, Merstham, originally numbers 31 and 33. It is a two-storey, two-window building. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is red brick. The roof is hipped and tiled. Small modern casement windows are fitted, featuring glazing bars. A reproduction bow window has been added to the ground floor, and there is a plain boarded door set beneath a bracketed cornice hood. The building is part of a group that includes numbers 23 to 31 (odd), Red Cottage, and the Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough to the east of numbers 27 and 29.
