Description
The Home Farmhouse is a late medieval timber-framed building with 17th-century additions and a 19th-century facade. It is two stories tall and has a five-window front made of red brick, featuring a brick dentil cornice. The roof is tiled and hipped on the right side, with the older part of the building having a wing that ends in a gablet and hip, while the left side has a gable end. The house has later 19th-century sash windows, which are tripartite on the ground floor and set under segmental relieving arches. There is a four-panel door located beneath a bracketed flat hood. Some of the original timber framing is visible in the old north wall, which includes a jowled corner post, with red brick filling.
