Description
This is a house located at 92 Acre End Street, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled roof covered with 20th-century tiles, including fish-scale tiles, and has brick stacks at either end. The house has a two-unit plan, stands two storeys tall with an attic, and has a two-window range. There is a timber lintel above the central 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a late 19th-century gabled porch. The windows are 20th-century three-light casements with flat stone arches above them, and there is a 20th-century roof dormer. To the left, there are 18th-century service ranges made of limestone rubble, topped with an old tile roof and a Welsh slate roof. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
