Description
Cornerways Cottage is a house dating from the mid 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof, with mid 19th century brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. There are timber lintels above a 20th-century door, which is accompanied by a hipped porch to the right. To the right of the door, there are 20th-century three-light casements and a one-light casement. The gabled roof includes dormers fitted with 20th-century casements. To the left, there is a remodelled service range and a 20th-century garage. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
