Description
Hill View is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. There are brick stacks on the right and a stone stack finished in brick on the left. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. A timber lintel is positioned over the central four-panelled door, which has a flat hood above it. Timber lintels also span the late 19th-century three-light casements and a 20th-century casement to the left of the door. The roof is gabled with gable end stacks that are external to the left. At the rear left of the main range, there is a mid-19th-century two-storey block that runs parallel to the main structure. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
