Description
Greyroofs is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with stone ashlar end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a two-window range. There is a pediment hood above a 20th-century glazed door, and timber lintels over mid-19th century horned sash windows. Gabled roof dormers are also present. To the left, there is a two-storey 18th-century range that has been altered in the 20th century. At the rear right, there is a mid to late 18th-century two-storey range made of similar materials, which includes a stone end stack. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
