Description
Hill View is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The building has end stacks, with the left stack made of stone and the right stack of 20th-century brick. The structure is L-shaped with a rear right wing and consists of two storeys and an attic, presenting a symmetrical three-window range. There are timber lintels above a 20th-century door that has a gabled hood, along with 18th-century three-light cross casements and gabled roof dormers. The two-storey rear wing adds to its architectural interest. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of significance.
