Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and ashlar dressings, topped with a gabled concrete tile roof. The house features end stacks made of stone, which are finished in 19th-century brick. The layout is L-shaped, with a rear right wing. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and has a symmetrical five-window range. Keyed stone lintels are present above a 20th-century door and casements, along with two 20th-century dormers. The rear wing, constructed of similar materials, may date back to the late 17th century. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
