Description

No. 47 North Street is a house dating from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a three-window range. There are timber lintels above late 19th-century features, including a four-panelled door and casement windows from the late 19th or early 20th century. One-light casements are positioned on either side of the door. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is likely to be of interest.
