Description

Priors Close is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of dressed and coursed limestone with a stone slate roof and features brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. A 20th-century flat hood covers the central four-panelled door, which has an overlight above it. The windows are 20th-century casements with flat stone arches that have raised keystones. There are two raking dormers on the roof, which is gabled and has gable end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
