Description
Rectory Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with stone end stacks, which are rendered on the left side. The house has a two-unit plan with a central passage and stands two storeys high, presenting a three-window range. There is a timber lintel above the central 20th-century glazed door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century glazed porch. The windows are 18th-century three-light leaded casements, each with timber lintels. A 20th-century rear wing has been added. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is likely to be of interest.
