HARDWICK WITH YELFORD YELFORD SP30NE 7/204 Breach Farmhouse and attached barn range

Farmhouse, now house. C18, with minor mid C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; end stack of stone finished in brick. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-window range. Mid C19 brick flat arch over central C20 door. Similar arch to left and timber lintel to right over mid/late C19 two-light casements with glazing bars; similar casements in gabled dormers. Timber lintel over C20 door to left; C18 outshut to left, with C20 plank door in front wall. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. Subsidiary features: barn range of c.1840 attached to right of similar materials; 2-light window with glazing bars above C20 glazed door on left; keyed segmental brick arch over entry which is flanked by ventilation slits with lozenge-shaped tops; stable in right bay with stone steps to first-floor granary. Interior not inspected.
