Description

Home Farmhouse, dated 1775, is a farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone-coped concrete tile roof and brick end stacks. The building features a double-depth plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window range. A flat stone arch is present over a late 18th century six-panelled door, which has two glazed panels and is sheltered by a late 19th century timber porch. There are flat stone arches above late 19th century transomed windows and a stair-light to the left of the door, along with two hipped roof dormers. The rear elevation displays a symmetrical three-window range, a raised storey band, and keyed flat stone arches over the door and windows. The interior has not been inspected.

Attached to the farmhouse is a one-storey service range on the right and a short wall that connects to L-shaped farm buildings made from similar materials. To the left, there is an outbuilding attached to a five-bay barn featuring a hipped stone slate roof, along with a long barn range that has a corrugated iron roof at the rear. At the back of the house, there is a stone-coped limestone rubble wall measuring approximately 12 by 20 metres, which is connected to a three-bay cartshed with a hipped stone slate roof. The interior includes butt-purlin roofs, and the barn to the rear left has had its roof renewed.
