Description
Nos. 11 and 12 in Rousham are two cottages that were converted into a house, built around 1830 to 1840. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a gabled Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at each end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. The right side has a 19th-century plank door and two-light casements, while the left side has a 20th-century door and windows. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, you will find chamfered beams and open fireplaces with wooden bressumers. The property is included for its group value.
