Description
No. 13 is a house located in Rousham Village, built around 1830 to 1840. It features coursed limestone rubble and a gabled Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window facade. A flat stone hood covers the four-panelled door, which has an overlight above it. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, with timber lintels and a concrete lintel to the left. There is a one-storey service range to the right of the main house. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a group of estate cottages built in the 18th and 19th centuries for the Cottrell-Dormer family, and it is included for its group value.
