Description
No. 7 is a house located in Rousham Village, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof, with concrete tiles on the rear. The house has a brick end stack from the 18th century. The layout consists of a two-unit plan and it stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The front entrance has a mid-18th century fielded six-panelled door, which is set in a chamfered wood frame and topped by a 19th-century timber lintel. The windows are modern casements that also have timber lintels. To either side of the main house are mid-19th century service ranges, which have Welsh slate roofs. Inside, the house features boxed and chamfered beams along with 19th-century plank doors.
