Description
Overford Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built around 1770 to 1780. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and dressings, topped with a gabled stone slate roof and features brick symmetrical end stacks. The building has a central-staircase plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. It has chamfered timber lintels over a late 19th-century door that is accompanied by a trellised porch and late 19th-century casements. To the right, there is a late 18th-century wing made of similar materials, which is one storey and has an attic, featuring a one-bay range with a two-light leaded casement. There is also a similar late 18th-century service range at the rear, which has a concrete tile roof. The interior has not been inspected.
