Description
Wytham Stores and Post Office is a house that has been converted into a shop and residence, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a 20th-century brick stack at one end. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a symmetrical two-window facade. Keyed stone lintels are found above a 20th-century plank door, which is topped by a timber hood from around 1900, as well as above 20th-century two-light casement windows. There are similar windows in the gabled half-dormers. A brick extension from around 1900 is located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
