Orchard Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The front has timber lintels above a 20th-century door and flanking casement windows, along with two-light dormer casements. There is a 20th-century one-storey extension to the right. Inside, there is a chamfered beam, although the first floor has not been inspected.
