Description

Hill View is a 17th-century house located in Wytham. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof, with end stacks made of brick on the right side and stone finished in brick. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The front includes a timber lintel and a concrete-rendered surround to 20th-century casement windows, which flank a 20th-century door that is sheltered by a brick porch. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension that also has a thatch roof. Inside, there are winder stairs next to an open fireplace, and the roof structure consists of a three-bay butt-purlin design.
