Description
Cote Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a remodel in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled concrete tile roof with a stone ridge stack. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. There are timber lintels over a blocked door and flanking 8-pane sashes to the left, as well as over a 20th-century door and a similar sash to the right. The first floor has timber lintels over 20th-century three-light casements. At the rear, there is a mid-19th century service range. Inside, the farmhouse includes chamfered beams and a remodelled open fireplace in the central room, along with a post and pad roof featuring butt purlins.
