Description

The Old Chapel and attached outbuilding is a Baptist chapel, built in 1845 and later converted into a house. It is constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a gabled roof covered in Welsh slate. The chapel is in the Gothic style and is a single storey, with a two-window front. It features a plank door set within pointed-arched windows with Y-tracery casements and hood moulds. Similar windows are present on the two-bay side walls. The interior was not inspected at the time of listing. A stable and cartshed range is located to the rear, built of limestone rubble with a gabled concrete tile roof. The outbuilding is included on the listing for its group value.
