Description
This building is a range of cottages located at 11A, 15, and 17 Acre End Street in Eynsham, dating from the 17th century, with the oldest part on the left. The structure features uncoursed limestone rubble on the left side and coursed limestone to the right, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped to the left. It has a brick stack on the left end and both end and ridge stacks made of stone finished in brick.
No. 17, which is on the right, is two storeys tall and has a three-window range. It includes 20th-century timber lintels over two doors and modern windows, as well as timber lintels over 19th-century first-floor casements. Nos. 13 and 15, along with 11A, are one storey with an attic and also feature a three-window range. They have timber lintels over a blocked door, 20th-century windows, a late 19th-century three-light casement on the right, and a wide through-entry, along with two 20th-century half dormer casements. There are also 20th-century extensions at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
