Description
No. 70 Acre End Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a gabled stone slate roof with brick end stacks. The house has a central-staircase plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. There are cambered stone arches above a 20th-century four-panelled door, as well as 20th-century two-light and three-light casements. To the left, there are 20th-century concrete lintels over three-light casements, and the house includes two gabled roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have chamfered beams.
