Description
This barn, located approximately 5 meters north-north-east of Number 47 (Home Farmhouse), dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features a gabled roof made of corrugated iron and asbestos. The barn has a 10-bay plan and includes two threshing floors. The front of the barn has two double entries, with a timber lintel above the door on the left. Inside, there is a collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins, and the ridge beam is set on a yoke. The left end of the barn contains three bays that form a cowhouse with a loft above. This building is included for its group value.
