Description

This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 22 meters north of Number 26, known as The Old Post Office. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a corrugated iron roof that has replaced the original thatch. The barn consists of four bays and has double-leaf plank doors positioned to the left of the center, topped with a wooden lintel. The roof originally included massive tie beams, raised principals, and two tiers of purlins, although only the lower tier remains. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
