Description
No. 11 Market Square is a house and shop, now functioning as a shop, dating from the early 18th century with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of limestone rubble, featuring a mid-19th century stucco front and a gabled stone slate roof with a brick end stack. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The upper storey has mid-19th century three-pane sash windows above a 20th century shop front. There are also two gabled roof dormers, each with 19th century two-light casements. The first floor has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
