Description

No. 12 High Road is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high and has four bays, consisting of a symmetrical house with three bays and a central entrance, alongside a shop in the wider right bay. The house has a glazed door and later 19th-century four-pane sash windows. There is a plat band present. The shop front, also from the 19th century, includes a central entrance. The building has gable stacks and a stack located between the house and the shop. It is listed for its group value.
