Description
This is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is built of limestone rubble with ashlar quoins around the openings. The roof is covered in stone slate. The house is two storeys high with attics, and has four window bays and a roof; it contains three rooms on the ground floor. The entrance is in the right-hand room, with a boarded door. Modern, unstained oak, leaded windows have replaced earlier bow shop windows on the ground floor. Six carved heads from the 16th century are fixed beneath the eaves. There are two hipped dormers and an ashlar stack on the left-hand gable. The house has been extended to the rear, and a further single-storey range has been added. A datestone indicates restoration work took place in 1974.
