Description

Amcross Cottage is a house dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building consists of four blocks, each with a single bay. The central block is two storeys high, with single-storey extensions at either end and a two-storey forward wing that is set at right angles to the main structure. There is a hipped bay at the angle of the forward wing, which has a door in its gable. The windows are 20th-century timber casements. The interior has not been seen.
