No. 13 Market Square is a house and shop, now used as offices, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with an early 19th century stucco front and features a gabled stone slate roof, with a left end stack made of stone finished in brick. The building has a two-unit plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and has a two-window range. The upper floor has early 19th century eight-pane sash windows above a 20th century projecting shop front. There are also two gabled roof dormers with 19th century two-light casements. At the rear, there is a short two-storey range. Inside, the first floor has cased beams.
