Description

WITNEY MARKET SQUARE SP3509N (West side) 10/191 No.14 06/02/70 GV II

House, now offices. c. 1840 refronting of C18 house. Limestone ashlar; gabled stone slate roof; stone end stack. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Raised architraves with triple keystones to panelled double-leaf doors with overlight and plate-glass sashes. Right bay has rusticated pilaster strips and similar sash above moulded semi-circular arch to blocked entry. To rear is mid/late C19 wing and semi-circular bay window. Interior not inspected.
