Description

This barn, located approximately 50 meters north of Hobbshole Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared marlstone and features a corrugated-asbestos roof. The barn consists of two sections with three bays each, and both sections have central opposed doors that lower towards the yard, with slits in the outer bays. The roof is adorned with tiled gable parapets. Inside, the trusses include ties and collars. This barn is part of the Great Tew Estate.
