Description
Hobbshole Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1770. It features marlstone ashlar and coursed squared rubble, topped with a concrete plain-tile roof and ashlar gable stacks. The building has a two-unit range with three parallel rear wings, standing two storeys plus an attic. The symmetrical front has three windows made of ashlar, a storey band, and flat arches. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a rectangular overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows. The roof has gable parapets with shaped kneelers and three dormer windows. The lower rear wings contain casement windows and some segmental arches. The interior has not been inspected. Hobbshole Farmhouse is part of the Great Tew Estate.
