Description

The churchyard wall to the north and east of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels dates from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar coping. The wall runs along the east side of the churchyard and continues along the north side, where it rises over a gateway located north of the tower. This gateway features a label mould above a six-panel door. The wall has a two-course triangular coping with a ridge roll. Some sections of the wall no longer reach their original height of approximately 1.3 meters.
