Description

This cowhouse, located approximately 10 meters northeast of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The building is one storey high and has a front with timber lintels above four doorways, although the outer bays are partly blocked. Inside, there is a loosebox in the second bay from the left and medicine holes in the rear wall. The roof is a collar-truss design with butt purlins. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby Manor Farmhouse.
