Description
This is a cowhouse built in the 18th century, constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and featuring a plain tile roof with coped verges. The building is aligned east-west and faces south, with a three-cell plan that includes a central through-feed passage. It is a single-storey structure that was formerly lofted and consists of three bays, with doors located to the right, left, and centre. Inside, the east bay retains two timber partitions aligned east-west, and there is a king-post roof truss supported by two pairs of purlins. This cowhouse is noted for being a complete example of its type.
