Description
This barn, dating from the 17th to early 18th century, is located approximately 20 meters southeast of Farmoor Valley Farmhouse, which is not included in the listing. The structure features weatherboard cladding over a timber frame, resting on a plinth made of limestone rubble. The rear wall is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and includes ventilation slits. It has a gabled roof made of corrugated iron. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor and a central gabled midstrey. Inside, there are arch-braced posts and tiebeams supporting a five-bay collar-truss roof, which includes clasped purlins and windbraces.
