Description

This is a barn dating from the late 17th century, located approximately 25 meters south of Longworth Manor. It features weatherboarding over a light timber frame, resting on a base of coursed limestone rubble, and is topped with a stone slate roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor. A central limestone gabled porch, added around 1910, includes a segmental stone arch above 20th-century double doors and 20th-century windows. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a five-bay collar-truss roof with side struts, butt purlins, and wind braces at the upper level.
