Description
Paradise Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed house featuring square panels with brick infilling and some curved braces. The building has a slate roof that is hipped on the south side and consists of two storeys, a basement, and dormers, arranged in five bays. The central bay is occupied by a 19th-century stuccoed, two-storey gabled porch that has carved barge boards and a six-panelled door, with the top two panels now glazed. There is a flat, bracketed hood above the door. The upper windows are casements, while the ground floor features two 18th-century sash windows with moulded architraves. A carriageway entrance is located at the northern end of the house. The side facade is roughcast and includes two canted bays on the ground floor and two casements above. A rear wing was added in the late 18th or early 19th century.
