Description
124 West Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century house that serves as the end of a row of adjoining cottages. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tiled roof that is hipped at the eastern end. The house has two storeys and two windows, which are restored sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is an archway leading to the rear at the eastern end, topped with a carved brick arch. This building is part of a group that includes No 35, its garden wall, and Nos 37 and 39, as well as Nos 58 to 74 (even), Nos 82 to 114 (even), and Nos 124 to 128 (even), along with the pavement surfaces and listed walls above the entrance to Adwell Square.
